Tomoki Sakata is a brilliant Japanese pianist who won First Prize at the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition and Fourth Prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition.
He is renowned for his extraordinary ability to perform complete piano concerto programs in a single evening, including technically demanding works by Liszt and Rachmaninoff.
In 2023, he gave a historic and unforgettable performance at the Grand Hall of the Liszt Academy in Hungary, receiving a full-house standing ovation alongside the Győr Philharmonic Orchestra under the baton of conductor Kálmán Berkes.
